Ironic or Expected?

Each Sunday my incredibly Italian and hungry parents like to have a large dessert after dinner. Today was no exception as they urged me to go to the bakery and pick up a lot of unnecessary sweets. I caved in after hearing my dad share in my desire for some pumpkin pie.

While waiting for the young girl to finish my order I realized that the radio was playing Pour Some Sugar on Me by Def Leppard and couldn't help but question if it was considered ironic or expected for a bakery to be playing that tune.
