I'm a Fifty Year Old Man

I noticed that I dress, act and live out the life of a middle-aged man. I love slacks, thick button-ups, black coffee, early bird specials, reading, staying in, and driving slowly.

Unfortunately I don't have the following traits of a middle-aged man: pension, benefits, job, house and a boat.

Gosh, life's hard when you want to start a band, and have dinner ready by 3:30pm.

But on the bright side, you don't have crippling arthritis! But then again you don't have grandkids to play with. To tell your tales to and give hard candy to. To watch them run away in the late summer sun from your porch while you sit there with a slight smile on your face, nodding at youth and watching the beauty of it unfurl before your very eyes.

So...get on havin' some kids and making those kids have kids. STAT. It's the only thing you're missing.
